“Hear the Word” – James 1:19-21

  We’re continuing our study in James this week,
looking at how we respond to and receive God’s Word.

We’re also trying something new – come get in on it!

Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:00

Following Christ ought to result in clear
signs of growth in Him, as we become
conformed to His image.

The book of James deals with many signs
of both maturity and immaturity in a believer’s
life, and we’ll begin our study of it
this week at C4.

Its the beginning of a new year!
Tonight at C4 we’ll be looking at the vision and mission
of the Sharon Baptist Student Ministry.

6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

DNow is an “in-town retreat” for students in 7th – 12th grade.
It involves 3 large group sessions at the church, and smaller
“Family” groups in host homes, led by adult
Student Ministry Leaders.

This year’s theme is “Coram Deo: In the Presence of God”.
Our speaker is Dr. Alan Bandy, from Oklahoma Baptist University, and music will be led by
Taylor Keenen, from Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

What happened in the 400+ years between the
close of the Old Testament and the beginning of the
New Testament?  Come to C4 this week and find out,
and see how God set the stage for Jesus to come
at just the right time.

churches, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.  Meet at the old
